Saint Pardoux, Pension pour chiens has 3 spacious kennels all offering your dog/s an inside and an outside living area.
There is a kitchen area for food preparation and food storage.
There is also a secure exercise area for your dog/s to have a run and a play.

Each kennel has an interior living area of 3.2m x 1.9m. (6.08m2 ).

The floor and walls are tiled and have their own drainage system for safe cleaning.

Each kennel has a secluded ‘niche’ for dogs to sleep in and all are individually heated with a thermostatically controlled radiator. Kennels are vented with an extractor fans to ensure adequate air circulation and draft-free fresh air. A wall mounted fan can supply cool air in the warmer months.

To provide relaxation, sessions of ambient music will be part of your dogs daily routine.

Your dog/s will have free access to their outside area of 3.2m x 1.9. (6.08m2)
The external runs have a tiled floor for easy cleaning and they are covered to protect your dog/s from either the sun or the rain while they are outside.

Total area for your dogs is 12m2

Open mesh partitions can sometimes cause dogs to become aggressive or nervous with their neighbours.
With this in mind, the partition between the pens is made with a 1m high wall and topped with 1m high galvanised mesh. Mesh can be covered if needed.

The paddock is surrounded by wildlife and has a play area consisting of a play tunnel, a trampoline, a tyre and lots of toys. It is an area of 1000m2 and enclosed with a 2 metre high fence.
(If your dog can jump higher than 2m, please let us know and we can walk them on a long lead. )

Dogs can exercise alone or with friends if they are sociable.

Rooms are large enough for 2 or 3 dogs of the same famiy to share. For families of 4+ dogs, please contact us for details.

If you require heating, a charged at €1,00 per day and/or €1,00 per night will be added to your account

(Please advise at what minimum temperature you wish for the radiators to be used).

All dogs experience some degree of stress while away from their owners. To help alleviate this, we ask that you bring familiar items with you for their stay. Beds and blankets are always welcome as well as their favourite toy or comforter. Please do not wash bedding before you come. The more familiar the smell, the better for your dog.

Additionally, it is our practice to use a DAP diffuser (Dog Appeasing Pheromone) to help settle your dog/s into their new surroundings.
The DAP is recommended by the Veterinarian Association, as a safe and natural way for your dog to feel protected and secure. For more information please click here.

If your dog has never stayed in a kennels before, why not try our Taster sessions? Let your dog/s come and play for just a few hours.
These are available during off-peak times, and subject to availability.
You are welcome to stay here with them and enjoy a cup of coffee, or you can 'go-shopping’.
This service is offered at €4,00 per hour for a maximum of 4 hours per day.

A 24 hour taster session is also available, (including an overnight stay). This is offered at €30,00 per dog, per stay.
During these visits your dog/s will benefit from individual care and play so that they can become familiar with their new surroundings.
This will help both them, and you, prepare for longer stays at your own pace.
